Nicole Elise is a self-taught female mechanic, field journalist, and visual storyteller based in the US. She built KnowHowTV from zero — no studio, no crew, no budget — into one of the fastest-growing motorcycle storytelling channels in the country.
A former professional photographer, Nicole brings a cinematic eye to shop-floor content that most automotive channels don't have. Her positioning as a capable, feminine presence in a male-dominated space is not a gimmick — it's her story, and it's why her audience trusts her.
Nicole's audience doesn't watch passively. They comment, they share, they buy. Her 98.9% non-follower reach on Facebook proves she's not just reaching an existing base — she's building new ones continuously.

Hi, I'm Nicole — founder, producer, mechanic, photographer and mom.
I built Know How TV from nothing, with two kids at my side and grease on my hands. This is my story.
I didn't come from the media world. I didn't have a production crew, a business partner, or a roadmap. What I had was a camera, a genuine love for car and biker culture, and an absolute refusal to wait for someone to give me permission to tell these stories.
I'm a self-taught mechanic and former professional photographer based in the La Crosse, Wisconsin area. I started Know How TV because I kept showing up to car shows, bike nights, and custom builds and thinking — someone needs to document this. These people, these machines, these stories deserve more than a quick photo and a Facebook post. They deserve a real platform.
So I became that platform. By myself. One camera, one story at a time.
I do everything you see on Know How TV — the shooting, the editing, the publishing, the outreach, the partnerships, the social media, the website. All of it. And I do it while raising two kids on my own. My children are 8 and 9 years old, and they have watched their mom build something from the ground up with her own two hands. I hope that means something to them someday. It already means everything to me.
What I bring to this space is different. I'm a woman in a world that doesn't always expect to see one behind the camera at a custom car build or a biker event — and I think that perspective matters. I show up with genuine curiosity, deep respect for the craft, and a photographer's eye for the moment that tells the whole story in a single frame.
I've had the privilege of sitting down with Ryan Evans from Counting Cars, documenting tribute builds with stories behind every weld, and riding alongside communities that are fiercely proud of what they create. Every interview, every event, every video is a reminder of why I started — and why I'm not stopping.
Know How TV is still growing. The road ahead is long and I'm building it as I go. But I've never been more certain that this is exactly where I'm supposed to be.
